founded in Montreal Canada in the year 2006 under the direction of Aladino R. Blanca. ITB arises from the idea and the purpose to use the contemporary dance as a conductive way to coexist with other artistic perspectives such as visual arts, theater and film among other prominent artistic expressions. Since the beginning until nowadays the company is under the direction of Aladino R. Blanca, born in Mexico and regarded as one of the young upcoming artistic directors, characterized by their courage and their artistic explosion on stage without fearing of being criticized by the audience.

 

ITB is a company with great partners in different artistic areas and it is determined to take risks in the performing proposals by bravely giving space for new ideas and not rejecting what is pioneer. Every creation includes interpreters with high level of physical theater skills, characterized by their animalistic and honest presence on stage. ITB’s creations manage to generate radical atmospheres and situations that go beyond the common sense, by reflecting society in different levels, moving from the brutality to tenderness. Aladino R. Blanca has been always open to collaborations with artists and projects around the world.

Aladino believes that the ideas must exist and be expressed above all the artistic streams. Art is the mirror of the individuality, reflecting at the same time the society in its best or worst, letting us visualize who we are and what we imagine. This is actually the way how we wrote and still write our world history, cycling from the top to the bottom and from the bottom to the top.
